Résumé : È opinione pressoché universalmente condivisa che i solfeggi accompagnati ottocenteschi, ancora oggi nel programma ministeriale d’esame dei Conservatori italiani, abbiano fatto il loro tempo.
Prendono continuamente vita numerosi metodi pratici ed eserciziari per strumento, ma poche pubblicazioni di questo genere sono indirizzate alla voce cantata, pur essendo la voce per nulla esente dai capricci delle mode e dei compositori.
Con questo metodo pratico ho inteso contribuire a diffondere una scuola che ha creato molte delle voci dell’epoca d’oro dell’Opera e che oggi, vantando per di più avalli di diverse correnti foniatriche, continua ad essere oltremodo attuale ed indiscutibilmente valida.

It is almost universally shared opinion that the Nineteenth century accompanied solfeggio, even today in the ministerial examination program of the Italian conservatories, have had it.
A lot of practical methods and workbooks actually come to life and develop, but few publications of this kind are devoted to the singing voice, though the voice for anything free from the vagaries of fashion and of the composers.
With this practical method I intended to spread a school that has created many of the items from the golden age of the Opera and today, boasting more endorsements for various phoniatric currents, continues to be extremely timely and unquestionably valid.

Biographie : Delfo Menicucci si è diplomato in canto a Lucca col massimo dei voti. Ha studiato composizione e direzione d’orchestra. Vincitore di vari concorsi di canto, ha all’attivo 62 ruoli operistici e più di 200 programmi concertistici in sette lingue straniere. Vincitore del concorso ministeriale nazionale a titoli e prove (su 900 partecipanti) per il ruolo in conservatorio, si è da sempre dedicato alla didattica insegnando prima all’Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “L. Boccherini” di Lucca e poi al Conservatorio di Musica “G. Verdi” di Milano dal 1995. Autore del trattato Scuola di Canto (2002) è stato relatore al convegno internazionale di foniatria di Ravenna 2003. È direttore artistico di concorsi lirici internazionali, oltre che fondatore e presidente di MusicArtemia.

Delfo Menicucci graduated with honours in singing from the Lucca Conservatory. He studied composition and conducting and has won several singing competitions. He has played 62 opera roles and has participated in more than 200 concerts in seven languages. He obtained the professorship to teach in the Conservatory from the National Ministry of Education after a rigorous examination of 900 participants. He has ever since dedicated his life to teaching, first at the L. Boccherini Conservatory in Lucca and then at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan where he teaches since 1995. He is the author of the treaty Singing School (2002) as well as founder and president of MusicArtemia. He has been speaker at the International Conference of Phoniatrics in Ravenna 2003 and Artistic Director of several international opera competitions.
