  • Résumé : This 5th edition of the Competition Law Digest provides readers with a synthesis of leading antitrust cases from 1990 to 2021, from the EU & Member States, the US, and other relevant jurisdictions. This Digest comprises of 44 essays and is structured in three main parts : Part I deals with competition rules in general (unilateral practices, mergers…), whereas Part II is dedicated to policy, procedure and enforcement (judicial review, due process & fundamental rights, inspections, private enforcement…) and Part III to specific sectors (digital, energy & environment, pharma & healthcare…). The Digest contributes towards building a corpus of information on national doctrine and precedent in the EU, US and worldwide. It is to date the sole publication which allows lawyers, economists, in-house counsels, academics and government officials to draw effective comparisons between competition case law and policies in different jurisdictions.
  • Biographie : Nicolas Charbit, Ph.D., LL.M., D.J.C.E, is Concurrences CEO and founder. Nicolas was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1994. He had been practicing competition law from 1994 to 2005 with a strong emphasis on cartels and network industries. He has completed a Ph.D. thesis at University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne on antitrust law and the public sector. Nicolas wrote for European and international legal journals and taught at universities and business schools. He has published various books and articles on European and French competition laws. Nicolas founded Concurrences in 2004.
