- Biographie : Il est arrivé au Zaïre de Mobutu en 1981. Les sept premières années au campus de Lubumbashi ont été totalement dédiées aux étudiants et au terrain. En 1989, il migre vers Kinshasa, où il vit encore à ce jour. Des centaines de missions dans le territoire profond ont noué de nombreuses amitiés congolaises, avec des organisations paysannes et bien d’autres acteurs ruraux et communautés locales, publiant des dizaines de publications de vulgarisation largement diffusées. L’hospitalité congolaise lui a ouvert les portes intimes de cet immense pays magnifique et les qualités profondes de ce peuple l’ont séduit. La couche de beauté de ses photos est destinée à vous faire découvrir l’injustice de l’abandon des populations, gardiennes séculaires des complexes savanes-forêt d’Afrique, un environnement naturel unique au monde - fragile et assailli - où elles vivent de façon frugale et autarcique.
