In "The Foundations," Galsworthy continues to delve into the intricacies of the Forsyte family, focusing on the next generation and their struggles with love, marriage, and societal expectations. The novel examines the tensions between tradition and modernity, as well as the changing dynamics of British society during this period. Through rich characterization and nuanced storytelling, Galsworthy offers readers a glimpse into the lives of the Forsytes and the world they inhabit.
