Résumé :
Tiffany & Co.'s Fifth Avenue flagship, reopened in April 2023 after a significant four-year restoration, has become a new landmark in the New York City skyline. Transformed by architect Peter Marino, the interiors now feature artworks by renowned artists and a three-story exhibition space designed by Shohei Shigematsu of the Office for Metropolitan Architecture. This book celebrates the landmark's history, emphasizing the golden thread of wonder that runs through Tiffany's legacy, from its founder's visionary retail concept to the enchantment of its iconic Blue Box. Dedicated to the artisans and visitors who have contributed to nearly two centuries of art, design, craftsmanship, and innovation, the volume showcases the newly redesigned building alongside Tiffany's renowned craftsmanship, stained-glass lamps, silver masterpieces, artistic jewelry designs, and captivating window displays.
